This is a great thing as it allows many people to get online and do what it is they want or need to do. The biggest problem is that when they are done, many people forget to log off the site they were on. There are identity thieves around that will wait for people to get off the computer and then they will get on to see if you forgot to log off your account. If you did, they will have access to your information. So if you do use public computers, make sure that you have logged off everything before you step away from that computer!

All of these are ways that identity thieves choose victims. Often people do not even know that they are chosen for identity theft in these ways. It is simply something that they do not think about. From now on these are all something that everyone needs to think about though if they want to protect their identity. When it comes to keeping your identity safe you can never really do too much, because should someone else get their hands on it, you are going to have a world of trouble for a long time to come.
